10.02.07 - Anniversary mix by Moni
To mark the 10 year anniversary of the Askeladden project, Moni has agreed to do an extended mix of selected tracks from the whole time period. The idea is to create a selection with one thing in mind only, to get those feet moving throughout the entire set! Askeladden has a foot in many genres, but putting together a collection of purely up-tempo tracks has never been done before. The mix will be presented as a free download on askeladdenmusic.com for you all to enjoy. Happy anniversary, eh! ;-)

12.08.06 - Askeladden site is up
Finally the new Askeladden site is up and running, and what a pretty sight it is! After three years of a semi functioning website, it took an aussie to get the job done. 10.12.05 - “Second jump” recommended by the Nrk
December 05.2005 the Askeladden tune “Second jump” got recommended by the state-owned public radio and television broadcasting company NRK’s site for unreleased music, and went on further to be featured on the top 200 recommended tracks until February 27.2006. Being recommended amongst 10.000 different bands and artists has surely contributed to more people being aware of the Askeladden project.
